I don't know about Hex, never read that. Legion was OK on its way to good. Bryan Hitch art in the Stormwatch books. Yes to those, what a steal. |

 I also came across the first four collections of Cerebus today. I considered buying them, but money's extremely tight right now, I'm hesitant to buy books I haven't read before anyway, and also I have no shelf space left, so I decided against it. |

A few things from the past couple of weeks. The Friday before I went on vacation, I helped a friend who was dealing at a show. Since I was going away, I only made one purchase for $8:
I stopped in a comic shop in Portland and got these two hardcovers for a total of $17
Finally, in an antique shop, there was a box marked "Misc. and Undergrounds." These were behind a bunch of 16s and Tiger Beats:  I have Binky Brown, but thought this might be a first print. It's not, but it's in much better shape than the one I got from Kitchen Sink mail order in '75. |

So this arrived yesterday  Love that cover art.
Like I mentioned in the "Classic Comics You've Read Lately" thread, I've been more inclined to blind read Moench's Moon Knight than I am on other titles. Usually I read them first on my own and then buy the Epic Collection afterwards if I feel like it's worth it (god willing it's still in print) |

Wow. Hard to believe. I guess I won't be able to retire off of my Legion collection. You could trade the collection in for a Superman 75... then it's easy street! Funny. I got that (still in bag) in a lot with a bunch of other 90's Superman comics a few years ago. |

I bought the Thunderbolts Epic Collection that just came out. I've never read an issue of Thunderbolts, but I know the team was introduced in an issue of The Incredible Hulk before the big secret was revealed in Thunderbolts #1. The weird thing is that Thunderbolts #1 is the first issue in the collection, followed by the Hulk appearance. I think I'd probably want to read them in publication order, but I'm wondering what the rationale for the re-ordering is.
