First appearance of the superhero costume in Herbie #8. Just need a #1 to complete the set. Might do like icctrombone and wait for a good deal....

UK 9p variant of Howard The Duck #1.... Got this high-grade copy in a great deal, and also have some other (uncirculated) UK variants on the way.

I Have the grail that I mentioned a few days ago. I've been looking for this book at the right price for 30 years.
As goofy as it may be, I have a very soft spot for this series. Issue #8 was my first-ever exposure to the "Fourth World" (and the Simon/Kirby Sandman) at age 9. That issue is one of the issues that shaped me as a comic collector. As soon as I was "old enough" to save money and buy mail order from Howard Rogofsky, I bought all of them... eventually.
congrats.

I just needed 1 and 9. The auction was for 1-11 and I couldn’t pass it up. I’m happy.

I love the Kirby Fourth World books. Forever People might be my favorite of the four.

'Strange' was a French monthly title that collected 3 Marvels with a nice (new) glossy cover that feels like plastic. Great if you have a daughter who can speak French This one dated July 1978 collects Daredevil 107, Iron Man 101 and Amazing Spidey 118, all with French text so she reads it to me. I pick up these whenever I come across them in nice shape....she has a library of about 20 so far....

Grabbed a handful of filler issues for a couple of runs I am working on while at the lcs today... I also snagged another comic with Toth art on ebay last night at a really good price, I'll post a pic when it arrives. -M

Not quite classic comics but classics indeed. Got these in the mail today. If DC and Marvel can't do it, someone else will. Dave Mandel shared these on his Twitter and I immediately spung and purchased these. I thought these would be trade size but having them in old school digest size is just as cool!

Wow, I need those. Only seeing the Marvel one on Etsy…… The owner received a C&D from DC/Warners attorneys, so he's not selling the DC one.

I'm still seeing the Marvel one on ebay, with pictures.
Owing to its bootleg nature it might not last long...

So the Toth comic arrived in today's mail... My Greatest Adventure #77 (March '63) lead story by Toth and as an added bonus, one of the back up by Gene Colan. -M
