Another project knocked off my list. I bought a spinner rack. Granted its not a vintage one, where that would've costed me a bundle, I bought a magazine rack to show case some of my CGC books. I had enough Dave Stevens books to fill the entire rack. Looks pretty cool in the corner of my room.

Very nice, DubipR . I have a vintage rack with the usual "Hey Kids, Comics!" header, but it's a flat-front lean-back rack, not a spinner. I'm not currently using it because it simply takes up too much room when deployed.

If you were close by, I'd take it off your hands lol The magazine rack was what I needed over the classic rack for the CGC books. I'd still like to do a rack of old comics in my living room as well.

Invaders 5 is one of my all-time favorite covers. Really wish it had a giant red skull terrorizing new York, but one can dream

A few additions to my never-ending Charlton quest==
The first six books were sourced for me by Crimebuster , who has been invaluable in locating several Charlton books for me, particularly their various horror/mystery series. I still have quite a way to go to complete most of the larger runs, but thanks to Scott I have made siginificant progress over the last couple of years.
Dig that great Wayne Howard cover on Ghostly Haunts #35. Holy shades of Wally Wood, Batman!
And this is one I've been hunting for a while in the raw-- which is really hard to find, since so many have been slabbed in recent years.
Blue Beetle #1 (1967), featuring the first appearance of Ditko's The Question. This is the last issue I needed to complete the run, and it's a beauty (for a Charlton book), with very light foxing and a minor cover crease. Considering the quality of Charlton paper in general, I'm very pleased to find this one. Staples are clean and tight, no missing chunks, pages or tears.

OK, time to cover the winter/spring purchases. There's more on the way, but I've procrastinated long enough, I still have to sell something to make up room. For now, probably will just buy a few extra boxes to place on top of the small bookshelf. So far they've just been lying around all these months. What a mess. OctoberBought on the 23rd, shipped on the 24th, received on the 26th via USPS Ground Advantage (to US address). US eBay seller: That's right, after two failed purchases I went all in and bid on three different auctions from the same guy, just to be on the safe side. January
Bought on the 7th, shipped on the 9th, received on the 12th via Correos. 6th Monroqueta42 Comics order: This small order was meant to fill some of the gaps from the last two Tony orders, the one two posts above and the one below, which was formalized later, but was ongoing.
Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 15th, received on the 19th (February) via USPS + eBay International Shipping + DHL. American eBay seller (3rd Tony order): Particularly happy to get such a good copy of FF #141. According to some of us, the most influential Marvel comic ever, and I'm not speaking about the Ang Lee movie reference.

MarchBought on the 1st, shipped on the 5th, received on the 11th via USPS Ground Advantage (to US address). US eBay seller: Quite a silly seller, he didn't sell more comics because he wouldn't break up lots with non-consecutive runs. Bought on the 30th, shipped on the 30th, received on the 1st (April) via USPS Ground Advantage (to US address). US eBay seller:
Not nearly as good as it might look by looking at the cover (VG really), but a copy in that grade will be almost $50 @ Mile High, with a discount, or $100 @ Mycomicshop. I got this one for less than $30 and I knew what I was getting. #120 is NM.

AprilBought on the 2nd, shipped on the 5th, received on the 29th via USPS + eBay International Shipping + DHL. American eBay seller (4th Tony order): I lost most auctions for the older Hulks, and many of the not so old. Prices were outrageous, while the IMs were quite cheap, even #118 which I won for $16.72 (about half its real value). So capricious are auctions.
Bought on the 22nd, shipped on the 23th, received on the 25th via USPS Ground Advantage (to US address). US eBay seller: Greatest seller ever, not only did he accept my offers but upon receiving the comics, I noticed PPSSM #27 was clearly better than the item pictured in the listing. Curious, I asked him and he said he couldn't find the comic, so he sent me one from his private collection. Wow! The other one was already discussed. FN/VFN (my grade) for $30, all in. The big two ask a lot more for this one (more than $50). Bought on the 11th, shipped on the 12th, received on the 14th (May) via USPS Priority Mail International. American eBay seller (1st Anthony Snyder order): Almost 5 weeks, of which 3 were spent at customs. On the sunny side, the charge was lower than what eBay would've, had the seller chosen their shipping. Also, I got a refund for some over-graded comics. Still, over $10 a piece.

May
From todocoleccion, paid on the 27th, sent on the 27th, received on the 28th via Correos: I didn't leave feedback, Hulk #334 was far from excellent, as described. It wasn't my first purchase from this seller, but there was a clear overlook in this case. Bought on the 27th, shipped on the 28th, received on the 31st via Correos. 7th Monroqueta42 Comics order: Much slower than the other one, both are sellers from Spain, but more reliable when it comes to grades. There were some discrepancies, like the WildCats just above, but at least he tries to grade accurately and refunds disagreements. Basically the only Spanish seller I trust. (Should I say European?).

JuneBought on the 1st, shipped on the 4th, received on the 20th via USPS + eBay International Shipping (Paack). American eBay seller (5th Tony order): Probably the last one from him. He's getting too many followers, which means more bidders. At the same time, he increased postage. Shame. Bought on the 3rd, shipped on the 5th, received on the 19th via USPS + eBay International Shipping + DHL. American eBay seller: When eBay teams up with DHL, it soars: 2 weeks! BTW, guess which item prompted this purchase. Hint, I never saw it available in Europe. Bought on the 1st, shipped on THREE OCCASIONS, FINALLY received on the 12th (July) via USPS + eBay International Shipping + DHL. American eBay seller: Maybe not the slowest eBay shipping ever, in the end, but certainly the most tortuous.

July Ordered on June 30, invoiced and paid on July 12, sent on July 26 via FedEx and received on August 5. With Mile High (5th order) you have to change the way to do things, if you want a straight record: They took so long processing the order, that they sent it with FedEx instead of XPO (the one I paid for). That made for a really fast travel; to note, half the time it was stuck at Madrid, where it arrived on the 30th. That's 4 days from Denver to Madrid! On top of that, they took care of taxes (!?), meaning they (Mile High) picked up the tab. So I paid for the next order, which is still waiting to be processed (no surprise there). Edit: I forgot to comment on the much advertised under-grading. As usual, they do. This is something I noticed as far back as 2020. VG grades are still hit and miss, but better than real "very goods", I will check with more comics in that grade as part of my next order (21 out of 31 are VG).
Bought on Thursday to make up for 2 of the 3 I bought from Amazon a couple of years ago, still looking for #5. Not Mint, but they could pass off as new, which is what I expect when I pay for something sold as new. The ones I got from Amazon were so bad I closed my account, [sarcasm]great service[/sarcasm].

Ozymandias, you went to town this year. Last year I sold about 150 Hulks online , most of them for a song. I have all of those FF books , bought mostly off the stands.

Well, not my fault, I was playing catch-up, basically. To explain, in August last year, I found an eBay seller who was getting rid of his collection. I was looking for the earlier Stern issues on the Avengers and stumbled upon his auctions. Since then, I've been following them and filling gaps, mostly Bronze Age. He's since changed venue, so I'm buying from other sellers now, but basically what I couldn't buy from him. I'll slow down because I no longer have a timetable to follow. It was his timetable, really.
BTW, I didn't quite get that about songs being currency (?).

All the books you posted look great, but extra congrats on this one, that's a huge score! Really nice condition, you're so right about some of these books being hard to find in nice shape unslabbed.
