Since yesterday, there's a constant notification telling me I have a PM waiting to be read... except that when I click on the Messages tab, there's nothing new there. Logging out and in does nothing, and the erroneous message is there no matter what device I use.
Is there some way I can reset the notifications?

What happens if you log in using incognito mode? Maybe it's a cookie issue.

In case it happens to someone else: the solution was going to my profile and clicking on "Edit profile". There's a tab on Notifications there. I unchecked the Private Messages notifications, logged out, and upon logging in again things were back to normal. I rechecked the PM notifications box, and the obstreperous notification didn't show up again. I feel like a hacker, man!!!  |
