I'm watching some old classic movies and taking it easy today. Right now, I have THE DAY OF THE EARTH STOOD STILL - the 1951's classic starring Micheal Rennie - who played Klaatu.

I haven't worked my day job since before Thanksgiving. My night job just gave me 4 consecutive days off. Good thing too, the weekends are where all the money is.

Taking a break from filing and paperwork for a Hickory Farms summer sausage and harvest vegetable white cheddar blend on saltines. Yummy.

Currently at Consol Energy Center to attend the Penguins-Avalanche game. One of the perks of my job is that vendors tend to have tickets to sporting events, and while I only occasionally take advantage of their hospitality (once or twice per year at most), it"s nice to be able to do some every once in a while.

Facing my fears by watching Communion as I do every so often. It's probably been since he was a baby since I watched it last. When I described the plot of the movie he couldn't understand of all the movies I've seen that are "scary" how I can be scared of aliens.
Edit: Well nothing's changed. Grown ass man scared of big eyed aliens. It took 6mg of melatonin and five beers to get me to sleep by 2:30am cause I was too spooked to do it on my own. And that was with the lights on. I woke up about an hour ago to use the restroom but couldn't keep my imagination in check so I'm up after 4 hours sleep or so. Good thing it's the weekend.

I'm clearing out those bits of the house which aren't covered in christmas stuff, to make room for the family to arrive for xmas eve. And taking photos of the old hifi kit to sell on ebay

Got a screw in my tire last night. Had to leave work early today. I didn't call off though because the tire shop is closed anyway, so that's where I'll spend my morning tomorrow. Hopefully they can plug it

Rest and recovery(beer and internetifying) after a hard 2-3 hours digging out thistles in our back paddock. 5th day into our Xmas break from work, start back on the 4th for 2 night shifts, then get scheduled 5 day break.
