I gave my pup a good tell off for jumping into the car, pulling out my jacket and leaving it on the driveway.
Now I'm missing my new slipper.

Following the Sox-Jays game on gamecast, packing up a box of books to send to Lonestar for credit and trying to get my office/studio space cleaned up/organized again...

When I was younger I liked the look and feel of a brand new tee shirt. So every weekend I wore a brand new tee shirt. never before worn or washed. So that meant I bought a three pack of AAA's every week. This went on for quite a while. I don't much care for plain AAA tees anymore, but they're good for work and chores and such, so I had a pile on my closet floor. A pile about thigh high and three rows wide. I'm thinking probably 60-75 shirts. Ten year old shirts. Nearly all of them stained from construction. Or Barbecue sauce or something. So I decided I'm going to get rid of them. But not all of them of course, they're still handy for work and chores. I've narrowed it down to 25, thinking of tossing ten more out. But it's never so simple as grabbing ten and tossing them. I have to evaluate all 25 and see which ones are softest, least stained, and an even mix of colors for variety. I know it's weird but at least I've cut down on my hoard.Threw out some black and blue ones that looked like they've only been worn once.

I'm going to use PHOTOBUCKET from now on and stop using IMGUR. I just spent 15 Minutes updating pictures from IMGUR to PHOTOBUCKET and leave 48 pictures alone over at IMGUR. No signature from now on - decided to get rid of it for good. Changed it to Active Reading List.

Just put four giant sized pork ribs on the grill to slow cook for the next couple hours. Going to watch X-Men 2 with my boys while I check on the ribs periodically till they're done.

On my third gin and tonic. Disappointing gin and not very good tonic water.
About to throw a couple of big ham steaks on the grill. So that's a plus.
Been a shitty day...but I haven't killed my spouse so that's a plus.

Gin and tonic on a hot summer day is like nectar of the gods, as long as you are drinking good gin (and for me Tanqueray is scraping the bottom of the barrel as acceptable gin-Blue Sapphire is my gin of choice).
Sorry to hear it's been a rough day Slam. -M
(waiting out the rain delay in Anaheim)

It's pretty citrus forward. Not what I really wanted. It's marginally okay for gin & tonics...but it's awful for martinis.

I'm 15 questions into writing a 25 question quiz for my class tomorrow night. I'm allowing myself to be distracted by EBay instead of finishing up.
