We're flirting with 70 degrees today and no rain, so it's the first day to open up the windows and start airing out the house after a long winter closed up. Will get cooler (40s-50s) the rest of the week, but today is a glorious spring-like day and I am soaking it all in.

Listening to my son's orchestra tune up before their concert. It's the city limit schools 5-12 grade all city orchestra. He plays the cello.

Getting ready to grill brautwurst, hot dogs and hamburgers on my newly acquired used gas grill. I've always used charcoal and still have one. But it was a good price and my brother and sister in law couldn't ship it when they moved last month so they practically have it to us.

Watching Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol on Cable Television - My 2nd time on TV. Starred Tom Cruise. Ive only ever seen the first one and really liked it. I have a VHS of it. I think that was a great cast performance more so than one individual so I've never watched any of the sequels. Plus my wife boycotts Cruise cause he's bat$hit crazy. :-) |

Watching my Pittsburgh Penguins continue their epic collapse this season. They were the best team in hockey through the first three months of the season, and they are in real danger of actually missing the playoffs.
It would be fascinating in a "baby deer in the path of an 18-wheeler" kind of way, if it weren't so disappointing.
