Pondering a modern world problem.
My inkjet printer refuses to recognize the "compatible" ink cartridges I just purchased for it. No amount of resetting will change things, and after three days I think I've exhausted all the tricks given by other people on Youtube and assorted websites.
The dilemma is as follows. I can write off the new cartridges as a loss and buy ink cartridges from the printer's makers. That would set me back seventy bucks of thereabout. Or I could buy a brand new printer (which comes with ink). That's sixty bucks.
Remember those mountains of cell phones covering the Earth we saw in the movie Wall-E? I'm convinced they were all still functional.

Which is really absurd.

Watching Heartworn Highways on Youtube. Absolutely incredible 1976 documentary nominally about the outlaw country movement...it's actually more about the nascent alt-country movemnt. Incredible performances by Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt and a ton of other stars.

Just got back from job hunting. Boy does that beat you up. Luckily I'm hunting for job #2 so it's not as dire, which relieves a LOT of stress

Watching 1980's music videos on VH1 Classic ("Cars" by Gary Nyman is on right now, following "Hungry Like The Wolf" by Duran Duran). This is such a fun way to start my Saturday.
Will be making a big pot of hazelnut coffee soon before heading out to do a little bargain comic shopping. One of the LCS is having an anniversary sale today, with $1 books at 50% off, so I'll be hunting some more Flash back issues.
