Updating my references and resume before I go to a job fair tomorrow. I'm feeling uncharacteristically confident about this. Good luck!! I have two second interviews over the next couple of days. While I wouldn't mind working for either company, one is definitely my preferred choice while the other is more of a back-up plan. Good luck to you, too. I've been working my butt off to get my name out there, so hopefully tomorrow sees some payoff. |

Enjoying a little down time after interviews yesterday and today. Both companies seem like really good places to work, so I think I would be happy at either place. One would pay a decent amount more but would be more stressful and have a longer commute, while the other would be less lucrative but would provide a better quality of life overall.
Just have to wait and see what the Lord has planned for me, but I'm feeling pretty good right now.

I just finished some rice noodles with chicken, and am now listening to Calluna's vlog on 'Suicide Squad', the nth review I've listened to/read since I saw the movie. Wow, it's SO polarizing! Seems that people either a) despise it or b) adore it in spite of its flaws.

I am watching Superman / Batman dawn of justice. This thing is 3 hours long. I'm very drawn in to the movie but it should have been a mini series.

Keeping cool as possible ... today's high is 85, tomorrow 94 and Saturday 90 ... a mini-heat wave in the Pacific Northwest. I'm canceling my visit to the Comic Book Store tomorrow and wait until Monday to visit because of the excessive heat.

Getting ready for my girls' last day of summer vacation. It's back to school for them tomorrow, at which point I regain the ability to go to the gym, play Magic online during the day, take naps, and watch what I want to on TV.
Don't get me wrong, we've had a great summer together, but I think everyone involved needs something different right about now. Tempers have been running a little high and patience is a little thin, so it will be good to separate them for a few hours everyday and give me a little decompression time as I continue to jub search.
