Anyone have the Black Panther Marvel Masterworks, or know of one for sale for less than like double retail? My brother's a big fan... he's sorta a casual comic fan.. he doesn't really buy comics, but he happily reads them when I hook him up, so I often get some sort of comic for his B-day (Dec 7th) or Christmas.
E-bay/Amazon seem to only have it for $100+
If anyone can help me out, let me know!

westfieldcomics.com lists it at $55, but I've never used (or heard of) them.

I don't know how Westfield is now, but they were HUGE in the 80s. They had a major subscription service as well as being one of the bigger back-issue mail-order dealers.

They haven't released a softcover Black Panther MMW yet, so you might want to keep an eye out for it. Also, the Epic line is constantly releasing random volumes (and they're doing a lot of Vol.1's to celebrate their 75th anniversary) and I'm sure they'll get to Black Panther soon.

Yeah, I thought about that, too... I'll probably wait for an Epic one for myself. THe HC masterworks make a good present though, so I'm pretty happy to find one |

I wasn't sure if it was fully canceled or not, but it makes sense given the Epic line. I realized that they weren't going to be reissuing past releases, but I thought they might at least finish off releasing the ones they haven't gotten to yet. Oh, well. I'm glad I only bought Vol.1 and 2 of Doctor Strange (Who knows when they'll get around to that in Epic) and Vol.1 of Cap.

Well, crap. Westfield just e-mailed me to tell me it was out of print (Duh!)... guess they didn't actually have it.
Any other ideas?

Your best bet is probably eBay at this point. I know they're all $100+ now, but one sold recently for $30. Other than that, the cheapest I'm seeing is $80 at CheapGraphicNovels.
