Nightwing #108 was a bit disappointing... I'm definitely not into this Bea the Pirate Queen arc.. I'm just waiting for it to be over essentially. I don't think it makes sense for there to be this much secret stuff in the world... I know all Superheroes comics require alot of suspension of disbelief, but when the internal consistency is lost, I start getting annoyed.
Titan #5 . on the other hand, was quite good... and just about the opposite of the Nightwing book. They DID have internal consistency. I was thinking that the good guys would have to be pretty dumb for the plot against Wally to work.... and turns out I was right, which is nice. The guest spot was really good, too.
Also, a bit of a heads up so you don't make the mistake I did... the Beast World - Evolution one shot is NOT the start of the Titans event, it is a reprint book containing Teen Titans #6. Gar's issue of the 80s tales of the Teen Titans, and the back up from Action comics after Lazarus Planet where Power Girl fixes his brain... definitely save you 7.99.

Big DC week for me. Loved Jay Garrick. My favorite this week. Love the flashbacks and the present day story. I'm surprised at how much I am enjoying Wonder Woman. I havent loved Kings writing in the past but his Diana is a force of nature! Titans is great. I was underwhelmed by Superman. Nightwing. And World's Finest. They weren't bad just not as great as usual.

Yeah, I dipped out on Nightwing during the Ric story so I have no connection what so ever to Bea...and this pirate arc isn't making her any more interesting. I mean, she wasn't even a good pirate, she had none of the shady morals one expects with that kind of a character so she wasn't interesting in and of herself so why do I care that she was "killed"? Big DC week for me. Loved Jay Garrick. My favorite this week. Love the flashbacks and the present day story. I'm surprised at how much I am enjoying Wonder Woman. They weren't bad just not as great as usual. Titans was really awesome on the other hand, I loved the inclusion of Swamp Thing and Gar's transformation into a swarm of insects was great. Other than the "twist" with Superman "dying" I thought Superman continued to be fun and I really enjoyed the twist with Gog succeeding in actually controling the world's heroes in World's Finest and I'm interested in seeing what Waid does with with that in World's Finest. I may have to catch up on Jay Garrick's book if it's as good as you say though. And while I still think King's Wonder Woman is very heavy handed with it's allegory I loved the back up with Jon, Damien and Wonder Tot.

Yes. Jay Garrick is the type of story I wanted from Justice Society.
