Edit: I see from a recent comment that it's supposed to be pencilled and inked by the same artist - a solo work. So I'm replacing the Chan/Alcala cover I posted with this Ernie Chan solo cover. Claw the Unconquered #1, June 1975:

Conan the Barbarian #75 This solo cover and a couple others Chan did for the series made me feel he should have been given a shot at the artist's job if J. Buscema ever got tired of doing Conan.

I never have seen much of that strip and I think whatever samples I have come across were from the Buscema arc. I should look for a collection of the whole thing, if there is one.

There's one volume that Dark Horse put out that has all the Buscema and some of the Chan stuff but not the whole run of the strip. A second volume never happened. -M
