Anybody else here watching this?
I went into it having no idea what to expect, but did like the idea of new, all ages Superman animated feature. I've so far watched the first six episodes and I'm really enjoying it. It's an interesting take on Superman - instead of an established hero, in this he's in his early twenties and still unsure of himself and his powers. Also, he, Lois and Jimmy are all cub reporters, trying to establish themselves at the Daily Planet. It's quite enjoyable. And the sixth episode features Monsieur Mallah and the Brain, who are absolutely hilarious and adorable.

I've heard lots of good things about this, but we don't have Max, so haven't seen it. If it gets a physical media release I might check it out, especially if out library gets it, or if it becomes available somewhere on a streaming service we do have.

Absolutely loved it.
I'm so glad that it's getting a second season.

Absolutely loved it. I'm so glad that it's getting a second season. Yeah, I really loved the energy of it; everything was so bright and hopeful just like Superman should be.

Superman is a great enough character to be able to adapt to various takes whether they are light or dark.
He doesn't have to simply be one thing.

Eh, in general characters don't have to be just one thing but I really can't name a single Superman story that I really loved where he wasn't a symbol for hope. Batman can smile and call folks chum or be a deranged madman and it can still be a good read but whenever people have tried to make Superman "dark" it just doesn't hit for me. Red Son was maybe the closest, but even then it's more due to the quality of writing overall and not the authoritarian characterization of Superman.

O.k., so I finally got around to catching the last four episodes, and my overall impression hasn't changed: I still love this approach to Superman. Looking forward to the second season.

Not a big fan of the character design, and the pacing's a little off, but I enjoyed it lots. I especially like how they made Clark's social awkwardness a part of his core personality instead of a disguise. Will definitely watch the next season.

No, haven't seen it. Sounds fun. Glad to see Superman has his paints and utility belt. That's a biggie for me. Shame we can only get that look in the animated shows once in a while these days.

Season 2 has been great so far except for Kara being a pawn of Brainiac.
