I'm a regular, or semi-regular, poster here who ended up with an extra digital code for Mario Wonder on the Switch. Somebody in the family bought the game directly through the Nintendo shop on our Switch, while I bought a digital code through Amazon. I checked around with real-life people I know, and nobody could use this code, so I thought to give it away here.

It's not that generous of an offer. It's either this or let the code go to waste. I'm no gaming expert, but I see no reason why the code Amazon emailed me wouldn't work for somebody else. I didn't use it, and my Amazon account isn't linked to my Nintendo account, unless Amazon and Nintendo engage in some account-sharing voodoo I am unaware of. I'm doing this anonymously because I don't want anyone to feel like they owe me anything.

So if you have a Switch and want the code, post in here, and at 8:00 PM pacific time on Wednesday, I'll draw a name at random and send you the code. I cleared this idea with the CCF management.

Below are the directions from the Amazon email. Step 4 says to enter the download code. I never bought a digital code before, so I'm assuming the "download" code is the same as the "redemption" code in the email. The email just provided a redemption code and a control code.

1. If you haven’t already, set up an internet connection on your Nintendo Switch system.

2. Make sure your Nintendo Switch system has the latest system update.

3. From the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu, select the Nintendo eShop icon. Select “Enter Code.”

4. Enter your download code and click “Send.”
