Archie had a series dedicated specifically to their cartoons, which is weird. A comic based on a cartoon based on a comic. I guess they wanted to advertise to the cartoon fans that they could get the same package in the comic as the cartoons - Archie, Josie, and Sabrina stories in the same title. 🤷♂️  Yeah! Archie's TV Funnies (CBS, 1971-73) had a different setting; this time, the Archie gang were running a TV station broadcasting several animated versions of classic comic strip characters (e.g. Dick Tracy, Nancy, et al.). Novel concept, and using the then-wildly popular Archie format to host characters 70s children were not as familiar with as they were with Archie, or superheroes. Wasn't Isis a live-action show? Yes, it was live-action: beginning with Isis, or The Secrets of Isis, broadcast on CBS from 1975-76. However, Filmation would go on to add an animated Isis to their Freedom Force series, as part of Tarzan and the Super 7 (CBS, 1978-80). |

I haven’t ever come across a Beetlejuice comic, but I know of it. The competition was strong (as it always is), but that quirky, fun cover had to get my vote.
