I don't use desktop wallpapers on my Mac, PC or iPhone anymore these days, other than the default ones, of course -- I can't be bothered! But back in the 90s and 2000s I used to change them fairly often. I can't really remember every one I had, but two that stick out in my memory is this Beatles cartoon one that I had on my home PC circa 2000... And also this Spider-Man movie one that I had around 2005 or so...

I haven't done this lately but sometimes I used to try to find an image related to whatever book I happened to be reading at the time. This could vary from something linked to it quite directly - e.g. an illustration from the book or, say, a painting mentioned in it - to things only tenuously connected, e.g. a painting from the same era and general setting. It can be a fun little game to play, maybe I'll get back into this practice now I'm reminded of it.

I posted this up on my laptop because 40 years ago (late Jan 1984), New Moon On Monday was released...and it's one of my favourite singles. I have night scenes with London on my home PC and work PC.

NICE! I'm a huge Duran Duran fan as well.

I was always a big Brandon Lee fan, really enjoyed his films and he had that pinch of quirkiness to him as an actor and a young action star that I really dug big time. This is certainly one of my favorites of his:
