I too like how full and dense a lot of the episodes feel, with a nice balance of character moments and action scenes, but I did feel Inferno was rushed when I saw ep 3 for the first time. With the ep 2 cliffhanger, I was ecpecting them to milk the clone drama for the whole season and maybe dive into Inferno toward the end. I don't mind it as much anymore, but (without wanting to spoil) I do wonder if the whole Jean/Maddie set-up has ended up going to waste somewhat. Still loving the show and totally stoked for the finale.

I generally agree on liking the pace. I wouldn't have minded if they took a smidgeon longer in the first few episodes, specifically Inferno. Everything from 5 on has been just fine, though.

I took the last few days to get caught up with the show. Really enjoying it so far. I think it's an improvement over the original series in some respects; being able to explore darker subject matter than your typical '90s Saturday morning cartoon could has certainly helped in that respect. I hate Storm's mohawk look, so I'm glad she wasn't in it too long, and got into her OG black outfit, too, which was a nice touch. I have mixed feelings on the pace. Think it's fine overall, though the Madelyn Pryor stuff was certainly rushed. I'm not a fan of the space opera elements in X-Men, so everything pertaining to the Shi'ar bores me. Episode 9's ending has me dreading the prospect of them giving Wolverine bone claws; I'm hoping against hope that they don't go that route.

I think they will, but I hope they avoid noseless feral Wolverine.

That season finale was intense. Tons of cameos, insane action, great cliffhanger, plus a post credits scene. Shame we have to wait so long for season 2.

Just finished watching the finale. They never let off the gas pedal. Really enjoyed this season, and looking forward to the next season, but it's going to be a long wait.

Nice finale! They sure aren't holding back.... so much history in just a few episodes! I wonder... are they going to do all that at once? Or will next next season split and have separate spin offs?
I have very skeptical at first but I was wrong, this was very entertaining... quite the love letter to X-Fans.

Yay! I think it stuck the landing. Love what Matthew Waterson and Ross Marquand brought to the table as Magneto and Prof X. And they both seem to be fans/geeks themselves from interviews.
