You sure it isn't FRAD-on?

It would be great if Marvel paid tribute by finally printing the unpublished The Cat #5 featuring her pencils, but I know that's a pipe dream. I'd been wishing Marvel would have done that ages ago, ever since I first learned of its existence. In fact, I was rather disappointed that it wasn't included in the Tigra Complete Collection book that was published a few years ago - that would have been an ideal opportunity.

I'm relieved to find that I wasn't alone in my confusion over her name.
Just to be sure, I found a video interview with her. They introduce her as Ramona FRAY-dun, and she's sitting right there.

I was so sorry to hear of Ramona's passing, I knew she was very advanced in age but still sad to reflect that she is no longer with us. Her work on Super Friends entertained me greatly when I was young, and then making it eventually back to Aquaman and some of her other work just continued to grow my appreciation for her as an artist. So much so that I was quick to purchase this lovely volume when it came out about 10 years ago, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested. Wonderful art of course, but also a nice career retrospective and interview content with Ramona.
