Many MST3K fans will recognize this as one of their finest moments: The absurdity of "He tried to kill me with a forklift" will never not make me laugh. I've been reading my Neal Adams Batman omnibus, and in The Brave And The Bold 81, there is an attempted murder by forklift. I'm too lazy to isolate a stand-alone image to insert, but this web page has the comic page in question, if you want to see it. It's the third image in the article. I don't have anything more to say about it. I just thought I'd share for anyone else who would get a kick out of the MST3K synchronicity. Or maybe here's a conversation starter: are there any other forklift attacks in comics?

Excellent, always love to see a link to Bronze Age Babies, where I used to spend so much time! (In fact, I even commented on that very post.) Here's the image you're talking about by the way: Also funny that the character's name is Bork. The possibility of making a Borklift pun was right there, and Haney didn't use it!

In The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones #20, some crooks try to run Indy down with a forklift.

They aren't like, well, slow? Electric ones have a top speed of about 8 mph, but diesel ones can reach up to 18 mph. That will outrun most people.
