Yeah, Prince Hal's "A Comic Lover's Memories" was really good.
And, yeah, fourthing the missing of certain members, esp. brutalis, among other things because he started and maintained a number of really awesome threads, like "Remember When: comic book remembrances" (a nice companion to Prince Hal's aforementioned thread) or "Which One?"

Earliest snapshot I can find of the CCF (June 26, 2014). here is the index page with all the discussion threads from about a month later. We had just added thwhtguardian to the mod team.

Here we are in August 2016, first snapshot of the site after we had moved to our current url address of classiccomics.org (we were originally at *http://classiccomics.boards.net*, which now redirects here). If you are using a widescreen monitor, the site wasn't configured for that kind of display back then, so the banner will look stretched out.
