As someone who's a bibliophile and a frequent lurker at Uncollected Editions, I love this stuff and the unique touches every person gives their own volumes Personally though, I'd be a little bit hard pressed to think of a certain book or run that I'd want done, though DC's Blue Devil is tempting

Interestingly, there doesn't seem to be a lot overlap between the regulars there and here - unless they're all using very different screen names.

seeems like the people there like to re-invent the wheel... that seems silly to me, but I guess whatever makes you happy.

Can I do a TLDR on threads? Normally, I prefer to read entire threads before I post. Nevertheless, so many threads I would like to contribute to, are too dang long. So if anyone on this thread has already said what I am about to say, please forgive and feel free to point out said posts. With that said, I would like to throw my two cents worth in. Back in the late 70s, I saw custom hard-bounds of early Spiderman comics. I was amazed at the page conditions! These were high grade copies, bound. I did notice that when the volumes were thick (containing many issues) the center gutter was lost. I see this with many square-bound reprints today. Even worse with today comics having little to no gutters. Keep in mind, taking staple bound comics and binding them will take from the middle gutter. Consider how much you want to leave for the middle gutter. Smaller volumes will cost more, but bigger volumes will cause a loss of page panel in the center.
