According to Comic Hub this is what's for waiting for me, but I won't be going to the LCS until Saturday for FCBD.
Lies my Teacher told Me adapted by Nate Powell (of March fame) Mighty Marvel Masterworks Daredevil Vol. 3 Nightwing Annual 2024 Savage Sword of Conan 2 Space Ghost #1 (+ a couple variants esp. Toth model sheet variant) Superman House of Brainiac Special Zorro Man of the Dead #4 (final issue)

Man, I really enjoyed Perry's debate in the House of Brainiac Special. "How do you convince them that their lives are connected to the people on the other side of their shared wall?" "How do you convince someone of something so obvious?" How indeed Perry? It might feel a bit on the nose for some but it definitely resonated with me and illustrates again just why I love Mark Russell. I know you're feelings on Superman Slam_Bradley but it's well worth checking this out for the Perry White story.

Jed Mackay's out of left field revelation on the identity of the new Moon Knight had me wondering how he'd stick the landing...and boy did he ever. Using that character suddenly made perfect sense and the way it fit into how characters are reacting to Moonknight's death was just perfect. I don't know where the story will go now that the mystery is over and it apparently tying into an event called Blood Hunt(I don't know what that is and I hope it doesn't suck) but I'm definitely locked in and looking forward to see where it all goes.

I think the only negative I have about Space Ghost is that I wish they had gotten someone like Steve Rude or Chris Samnee for the art. Johnathan Lau had a decent sense of action and his figures were good but I just can't shake the feeling that Space Ghost should be done in a more cartooned style.

Not going to get to the shop until Saturday for FCBD, but hoopla already had Savage Sword of Conan #2 available, so I read it last night. Really lie the lead story, Zub at his best and really effective art by Richard Pace. Patch Zircher's Solomon Kane installment was top notch too. From what I've seen the production values for the art look much better than the issues with muddy reproductions the had with the first issue-I haven't got my copy yet, but I watched Stygian Dog flip though his copy in his review and it looks much better. I'll know for sure on Saturday when I pick up my copy.

Agreed! I have no interest in buying like 30 books at 3.99 (or 4.99) a pop to read the event.. so hopefully there won't be to much you need from the others. McKay is writing the event too, so at least there's that. Some of my other Marvel books this week (and probably last week): Iron Man 18 had some fun moments but ultimately the bait and switch of Feil Long as not really being a big villain is disappointing, and makes Tony seem like a sap. Next issue apparently Rhodey is going to turn on him, which hopefully will have a better reason than they've laid out so far. It's been a long time since Tony was shown to be smart and competent... I thought that was it, but turns out no.. he needed Magneto's help to dispose of what is essentially a henchman. Spider-Woman 6 and 7 : I've been liking the journey here.. I'm hoping her son didn't really get aged up... that would be pretty disappointing. Fun to have Jess back in San Francisco though, we'll see how it goes. Night Thrasher 3 : I was not expecting much.... I just wanted to support a New Warriors related book, and it's been surprisingly good. I'm hoping it sticks the landing on the last issue... that's going to do decide just how good it will be.
