This looks pretty badass. Maybe it's just the David Aja cover.

I think they should do one about the stormtrooper who bonks his head on the door, on the Death Star. Follow him from Imperial Boot Camp, through Star Destroyer duty, to the Death Sta, then have him in sick bay, with a concussion, when the Rebels attack.

With Cody's ideas, they could expand from the one-shot mine would have been into a whole miniseries!

Like, the Stormtrooper has hit his head so often that he's got brain damage and has badly compromised coordination and cognitive skills...but it's all played for cheap laughs! Call it, Star Wars: Spaztrooper.

You could also do the stormtroopers on Tatooine, who let Ben and Luke go, though Robot Chicken pretty well covered that.

Hey remember that time they introduced a stormtrooper named Finn and you thought they were going to make a whole trilogy about him and his ethical dilemma of being one of the baddies, and they reduced him to comic relief by the second movie? Pepperidge Farms remembers......
But seriously... I liked Marvel's Star Wars Annual 3, which featured a story about a young stormtrooper recruit and his ethical dilemma of being one of the baddies. All by Klaus Janson.

Totally redeemed the prequels. Just kidding, it didn't. But for two minutes, it was entertaining.

I've read plenty of the old Star Wars EU novels *cough, COUGH* excuse me, Legends novels, and Timothy Zahn was one of the my favorites authors of the line.
Two of Zahn's novels, Allegiance and Choices of One, were set between ANH and ESB. They featured our plucky Rebel heroes and Mara Jade serving as the Emperor's Hand. Zahn introduces a 5 member squad of Stormtroopers who, for reasons my tattered memory can't recall at the moment, end up deserting and becoming some de facto force of good. Albeit not everyone in the squad agrees with this notion, it just so happens their actions end up benefiting the plans of our plucky Rebel heroes and bewildering the Emperor's Hand.
There's a stormtrooper, a scout trooper, a sniper, so on, I think every type of Imperial trooper is represented in the squad. There is some small measure of democracy in play as the squad figures out their next move (are we now wanted by the Empire? Would the Rebellion accept us? etc) but in action they still utilize the tactics and mentality drilled into them as Imperial soldiers. It was a different look at stormtroopers which I liked so yeah, a miniseries featuring them would be great.

Tag and Bink were good Stormtrooper comics.

I guess a stormtrooper comic would be more miss than hit.
