I am surprised that anyone would have any problem with pretty much any character on the show. I think its amazing that Green Arrow, Black Canary, Arsenal, Huntress (Bertinelli version), Ray Palmer, Flash, Firestorm, Deathstroke, Merlyn, and the secret IDs of Vibe and Killer Frost are getting any time at all on television.
You also make a good point. My take on the Huntress is this: There are a lot of versions.
1) Huntress I - Golden Age Villainess who married the Sportsmaster and was later retconned to be the Tigress
2) Huntress II - JSA member Helena Wayne (BEST Huntress EVER)
3) Huntress III - Helena Bertinelli - A VERY interesting take on the Huntress
4) Huntress IV - Helena Kyle, of television's Bird's of Prey
5) Huntress V - Worlds' Finest Helena Wayne of the New 52 (in many ways the equal of Huntress II, in some ways her superior)
6) Huntress VI - Helena Bertinelli, of television's Arrow (Yes, she's a criminal wacko, BUT she is also a very interesting take on the Huntress AND she is very good looking. And how can you not love her voice?)
My favorites, obviously are #II and #V, but I still count #VI as a legitimate Huntress.
...I suppose the real question is whether or not we should add the ToJ version of the Huntress as #VII?
