So I borrowed Watchmen Chapter One from my local library and watched it last night. I really dug it. It is a superb adaptation of the story, and Dave Gibbons was heavily involved as a consultant in the art direction. I think the animated adaptation works much batter than the live action one (which is still the only Zach Snyder thing I even remotely liked), and very much captures, the look, feel, tone and texture of Gibbons art. The voice cast did a very good job as well. Chapter Two won't be out until next year, but I will check that out when it drops.
