An obscure favorite of mine. Just made this video about it:

Another good review, Shaxper, and a film I'm not sure I've ever heard of. The only reason I've heard of Kay Kyser was because my father was a big band fan. Whenever he'd want to use a silly name that sounded made up, he'd say "Ish Kabibble."

Didn't Lugosi famously hate Karloff or is that just something that was made up for Tim Burton's Ed Wood?

Really fun, but hardly accurate and definitely not fair to Bela's legacy. As for the feud, that was hyped up long before Burton, but there wasn't much to it. Lugosi may well have resented Karloff's success, but there's plenty of evidence of the two cooperating and even being friendly with one another.

I had seen his name in old posts and would have said hello but I haven't seen any posts of his recently. Not wishing bad things on him but I'd assumed anybody old enough to actually remember Ish Kabibble, like my father, is dead by now.

Just needs to get re-booted from generation to generation
