I think it's because of her weird feet! You are right... they are kind of freakish. I have a copy of that issue, but I guess I lack any sort of foot fetish because I never noticed until you pointed it out. The rest of her is built pretty well. (Also I'm glad an example from the romance genre showed up here, because there loads of possibilities there from which to mine.)

We're hitting most of the major genres this week, with examples from superhero, sci fi, sword & sorcery, western, war, romance... Still waiting for funny animal and teen humour to show up.

Well, I almost went with an anthropomorphic cover. Wasn't a funny animal book, though. At least, not at that point.

Wow that's a good cover. I can relate. Is that from Demon In A Bottle?

Wow that's a good cover. I can relate. Is that from Demon In A Bottle? It's not from the original storyline, but from the follow-up arc several years later where Tony lost the company and quit as Iron man because of his alcoholism. Rhodey took over as Iron Man. This storyline ran from #166-200.

Well played Jesse. That particular issue of Twilight Zone, as you may know, contains one of Alex Toth's finest stories, "The Secret of the Key". It's a very unusual sort of painted cover for Gold Key, but ripe with eerie melancholy.

Good theme, dot. It's a question that HAD to be answered, apparently:

I'd say the other question that HAS to be answered is: How much starch is their laundry using?

I didn't realize Obidiah Stane hadn't been made just for the movie. I have read very little Ironan by the synopsis if the issues sound interesting.
