It's not from the original storyline, but from the follow-up arc several years later where Tony lost the company and quit as Iron man because of his alcoholism. Rhodey took over as Iron Man. This storyline ran from #166-200. Thanks for the information Scott. Looking at the issues I hadn't realized Denny O'Neil had done work for Marvel. I didn't realize Obidiah Stane hadn't been made just for the movie. I have read very little Ironan by the synopsis if the issues sound interesting. Hey AW2009, That storyline is one of my favorite runs of all time. I had to rebuy about 10 of them last year and it was still great. I don't know if it has ever been collected. I came back for the Tony part of the story rather than the superhero part.

Without knowing what it might be called, I did find one TPB that collects 158-177 called The Enemy Within, but that's about all. I've also been meaning to read Demon In A Bottle as well. Edit: The human side of the story is why I want to read both stories now.

It's such a great story. I think if you go to GCD , they have it listed where each comic was reprinted or collected.

A different kind of "alone", but certainly lost and forlorn.

So I think the story will speak to me. It may be why I'm drawn to the Bukowskis, Millers (god no not Frank, Henry), Londons, Poes, etc, whether it was in their fiction or their lives or both.

I think this illustrates the topic perfectly. Good choice.

</div>I've been waiting for this one... There was this one and a couple of others that I thought were no brainers. Luckily I don't have much brains.

I try to stay away from the obvious. I think others do too.
