It's Top Shelf Friday time!
So show us a comic (or comic-related or comic-tangential item) that you own that you believe should be on the Top Shelf. It can be because you think the comic is important or valuable, because it's a sentimental favorite or one of your favorite stories, because it's signed and holds great memories for you, just has a really cool cover or strikes your fancy or is just plain cool-whatever the reason show us that comic. Any pic of that comic will do, but bonus points if you can show us the actual copy you own.
This week's pick, in honor of James Gunn announcing that the best boy Krypto will be appearing in the upcoming Superman film, I am going to pick one of my favorite Krypto covers, Amanda Connor's variant for Supergirl #25. She did a series of variants featuring Kara and Krypto, but this is the one that caught my eye and sent me scrambling to pick them all up.
Krypto was on the cover of the very first Superman Comics I bought off a spinner rack, #287, so I am including that as a bonus entry this week because Krypto is the best boy. (If I have time later, I will dig out my copy and take a pic to replace the mycomicshop image)
