I read a lot of Batman stories, from the 1930s to the present. And I can’t think of any Bat-Mobile that sticks out as being my least favorite.
It’s probably because I read so much Batman! Any style that I don’t particularly like at first becomes familiar and accepted pretty quickly.
My favorite Bat-mobile is the one with the big bat-head on the front that was prominent in the 1940s.

Interesting answers, everyone. I can certainly agree on how Marvel’s Atlantis is wheeled out for big events while DC’s Atlantis feels like part of the infrastructure. Okay, Day Two is “B”. And the Batmobile is the theme. There have been numerous Batmobiles since 1939, many of them iconic and well-loved, with fans having their favourites. However, which Batmobile is your least favourite? Please explain your choice. Are we sticking strictly to funnybooks or are movies fair game? Any incarnation is fine by me.

Lest favorite Batmobile? The one from the 1997 Batman & Robin movie…: Really didn’t appreciate the design and especially all the day-glo.

Sorry, misunderstood, or rather misread, the question. I'd say the worst is the one from Dark Knight Rises, i.e., the 'Tumbler'... Because it looks like a generic SF combat vehicle; as outlandish as some of the others look, they're still distinctly Batmobiles.

I’ve only seen each of the Christopher Nolan Batman films once. I don’t think they’re very good overall. So I had forgotten that design. It’s pretty bad. Put me down for that one as the worst.

I get that it was designed to be sold at Toys 'R' Us, but The Clooney/O'Donnell Batmobile is neither fun to look at nor roomy enough for two crimefighters, let alone the requisite weapons and Bat-gimmicks needed to bring law and order to Gotham.

I make no secret that I think the Nolan Bat movies are mostly shite. This is just another example of why.

A friend of mine didn’t elaborate much, but he once said to me that he thought the Nolan films were good films in their own right, but weren’t good Batman films. He also said that if you take the Joker out of the sequel, the plot barely changes. I haven’t seen them in a long time, but I’ve never felt a yearning to revisit them.

Yeah, the Bat-Tumbler is pretty bad. I'm also not a fan of the serial version too. I love the '49 Mercury but Batman should never have a convertable.

I don’t really have an issue with that given the monetary issues the serial faced. And, while it’s not a convertible, my first love was the Batmobile from the TV show which is topless.

I like the '39 Caddy from the first series a bit more. Feels more like a Batmobile; looks like one too.

The idea of a Batmobile being some sports / concept or hot rod has always been idiotic. Batman needs a vehicle to aid in his crimefighting, not compete at car shows for those with astoundingly bad taste. Then again, I should not be surprised, as I found everything from the 1989-90s Batman movies to be awful and garish.
