Vol 5 of the adventures of Axle Munshine and Musky - Le Vagabond des Limbes: L'Alchemiste Supreme - arrived from eBay today where it was ludicrously cheap. (It would have been rude not to buy it.) Not only is it in beautiful condition, it's a first edition and very weird and funny stuff it is too. Nice. Golden Planet from Incal/Metabarons, Corrusant from Star Wars, bunch of planets and the main story from Saga (space opera + forbidden love in the center of it), these were all influanced by the Vagabond in Limbo, people who never heard for it don't know what they're missing. (And yes, if you have a sister or a spouse/girlfiend who is not into comics, this is your best shot for conversion (this and the Saga)). I've got the first 5 volumes last year, will get another 6 by the end of this one.

More books! Excited for this little mix. I don't like Hulk but he battles Iron Man and the Thing...and I love battle issues! The Spidey books are part of my desire to own every Spidey guest app. through the 60's and 70's. Same goes for that Ka-Zar issue.

Possibly not in Mint. A reprint of the first(?) JLA/JSA team-up story, plus golden age Spectre, Wildcat, and Vigilante stories. And a Kubert Hawkman reprint! (Which I have in several formats, but I will defend this as the best Silver Age DC superhero run. So I'm not sad to read it again!)

Sacrilege! Ah, but each to his own. Great pick-ups!

Sacrilege! Ah, but each to his own. Great pick-ups! What can I say? I like the character, I just haven't found any love for any of his rogues gallery or overall stories from the 60s and 70s. As a guest star in other books, I love Hulk. Does that make any sense?

What is the simplest way to post pictures? I have tons of purchases to share, but I can't figure out how on my own. Keep in mind I'm not the best operator, so layman's terms would be great.

I picked up three issues of the Alan Moore Swamp Thing yesterday when I saw them at a relatively cheap price ($5), considering what they tend to charge for back-issues these days. I have the Moore ST run in the trade collections but I like the idea of reading the individual issues, if I don't have to pay too much for them.

I ordered Detective Comics #387 from eBay yesterday. When I get it, I'll have every issue of Detective Comics from #366 to the present. If you count the New 52 and Rebirth (which just reached #966), I'll have 600 consecutive issues of Detective Comics! I've been working on Detective & Batman pretty heavily lately. I like that you can get Silver Age Detective issues in good shape for relatively cheap. Batman not so much, though. My collection isn't quite as complete as yours, but between the two original titles I own over 1,000 books. I'm planning on going as close to the beginning as I can for the Batman and Superman books, so I have a project to work on until I die. There is a slim chance that in my later years I might be able to get 1 or 2 of the Grails, but that is many years away. Amazing Fantasy 15 is the only Grail book I'm determined to acquire in the immediate future. The others are mostly pipe dreams.

I use Imgur. You can download pictures from your computer to the website and then copy and paste the images on the reply.

Does that make any sense? No. It does not. But neither does my never having read that Spidey appearance in Ka-Zar. Please review it when you get around to reading it.

Right now my grail book is Detective Comics #359, which I'm saving for so I can get it in January.
