I could be wrong, but was it revealed that Rampaging Hulk issues were "imaginary tales" within the Marvel Universe? Or did I dream that?

I could be wrong, but was it revealed that Rampaging Hulk issues were "imaginary tales" within the Marvel Universe? Or did I dream that? The early issues, which were originally supposed to take place after the first Hulk series was cancelled, were later said to be movies created by the alien Bereet for her homeworld.

I got into Iron Man most when David Michelinie, John Romita Jr. or Jerry Bingham, and Bob Layton were the team. I still remember the wonder of scenes with all the different armors in view behind Tony Stark in his workshop, and that outer space suit when it debuted. Red and white are wrong though... because he's "The Golden Avenger"! The nose period didn't last too long, but it was still too long. Someone probably thought it seemed logical but did it look goofy! I read that someone showed Stan Lee some artwork and he commented that Iron Man should have a nose. The person took it literally as an order to add a nose and so it was. I believe Lee saw it months later and remarked " who ordered that stupid looking nose?", and it was jettisoned.

Last week I found three parts of a Paul Gulacy arc and I was able to pick ups the other 2 parts today. I also found an arc featuring the art of Bart Sears. This series was so good for the first 75 issues or so .

This GL run had Dave Gibbons art and was the lead up to John Steward taking over the Green Lantern Mantle for a while. This was a crossover for the Wally Flash series

Love that Christmas w/the Super Heroes book. And I'm not a Christmas person, at all. May have to dig it out and re-read it.

I believe Lee saw it months later and remarked " who ordered that stupid looking nose?", and it was jettisoned. Close - Stan's comment came after looking at a picture that showed Stark's eyes right behind the mask. With a flat faceplate, his eyes would have to be further back or there'd be no room for his nose. So Stan said, "it looks like he's got no nose!" and that was misinterpreted as an order to add a nose to the armor.

In honor of reading about the early issues here and recent All Star Comics purchases I completed the dollar sized issues of Batman Family (#17-20). Mostly into The Huntress feature but some nice Michael Golden art on Man-Bat and Batman himself. The lot of three of these plus #1, 12, 16 and an extra #20 were $20 u.s. Then just before that I found a run of Aquaman from our own pinkfloydsound17, #57-63, and he had the earlier DC Super-Stars #7 as well which reprints some Nick Cardy. Lots of nice Jim Aparo in all, and the last four have Don Newton inside.

Happy they went to someone here! Know that they came from a guy who was gonna throw them away. I offered to sell his collection for him and he let me keep some books. As far as I know and according to him they were purchased, read once and then bagged. Never boarded. Somehow they survived and look great:) enjoy!
