Fantastic Four #s 192-203 and annuals 12-14, as contained in these two books: Both were steals: the first cost me a little less than $9 (with postage) and the second a little less than $8 (again, with postage). They sort of complete a set for me, as a few years ago, I got this one for a similarly low price (can't remember exactly, but it was less than $10): At some point, I'm hoping to just read all of these straight through together with the first two thirds of Byrne's run, which I have in the visionaries volumes. Good stuff. Everyone acts like the only good runs were from Lee/ Kirby and Bryne. I enjoyed many of the runs from various teams that kept the concept of adventure going. Yeah, I enjoyed the Roy Thomas stuff for the most part, as well as the Len Wein stuff that I have read, and I also liked the Englehart run, except for the stuff at the end where he wrote under the "John Harkness" name. The Wolfman stuff was pretty good. I did not care at all for the Moench stuff and wasn't too crazy about the DeFalco run either.

So that lot of Phantom issues I won in the Lonestar auction arrived today... and I rounded out the order with a few other things... Madhouse #95 (the second of the Gray Morrow issue sI have gotten, only one more left to get) three more volumes of the NBM collections of Terry and the Pirates... and a pair of books off their weekly dollar sale, one of the Mister X one-shots Dark Horse did (I'm slowly gathering all the Mister X issues) and an issue of Alien Legion (another series I am slowly putting together)... -M

Don Newton, Gray Morrow, Dean Motter and Milton Caniff are favorites of mine (not that there's anything wrong with Frank Cirocco or Chris Warner or whoever is on that Alien Legion)
Had to replace a couple of the 1992-93 Justice Society comics as someone had ripped pages from them and the seller hadn't spotted that (supposed to refund me)... so I added Avengers vol.3 #36 & 37 just because I had been liking other Marvels from that time. Now I close the door for awhile on buying. Some of the Englehart & Rogers Detectives have reached me and others on the way should be here soon so will read them in order when they're assembled.

Picked up three Spirit reprints that I needed and Spider-Man: Redemption #1, which completes that mini-series for me.

The comics shop near my office just got a huge batch of low- to mid-grade Silver and early-Bronze Age books recently, all of which are on sale for $3 apiece. A lot of them are things I'm not interested in or already own, but there was a decent run of Sgt. Fury books in there. The only issue I've bought so far is #65, which has Eric Koenig "sieg heiling" on the cover with the reveal that he is the traitor in the group, but I did pull together a clump of them and stuck them at the back of one of the boxes that I may go back and get tomorrow when I am down at my plant.

Can't go wrong with Fury before the eye-patch in his war time exploits. Just plain "silly/fun" in the classic mighty Marvel style.

I forgot I even ordered this and it just arrived. While ordering something else I checked to see if they had the What If #14 of Sgt. Fury in Space I had read ages ago and instead saw this one from 1979 and added it to my order. Looks like it's all Carmine Infantino inside and should be a fun read. Hopefully the 'answer' to this one isn't that the universe would've been destroyed.

Used to have the Space Ghost and another titled Hanna-Barbera Super TV Heroes #3. You can read the month and year on those final little numbers on Gold Key Comics. -703 would be March 1967. It would've been published December 1966 though.

I'll have to try and check some out.
