Within Canada the mail seems about the normal amount of time despite fewer bots coming and going from the island I'm on. International mail is probably most effected. I've not been ordering to know though. I like all the Thor stories I've read with Hercules, a real odd couple there! The only Thor character I never warmed to was Balder The Brave... he always seemed really bland and the helmet was a total clunker. No fashion sense! The Warriors Three were way more stylin'. Then again almost everyone in Asgard (or Olympus for that matter) wears the same clothes day after decade after century. I'll have to see if the goddesses in those Byrne Wonder Womans have more than one outfit when I get to them, Byrne was usually one of the best for characters having interesting changes of clothes. I guess there's only so many styles for togas but the Norse gods could have had a wider variety... a Balder, special makeover issue... that's what was needed. Could've been a Millie The Model crossover special! Speaking of Balder, I hate that they made him Thors brother after 60 years.

The only thing you're missing are horrible shipping times: - MCS: 25 days and it still hasn't even crossed the pond.
- MH: 20 days and it still hasn't even shipped.
I'm keeping to mainland Europe for the moment. I still do UK, but no more Silver Acre in a while, the last two orders took a full week to ship. Lone Star: ordered on March 29, still unknown, last update from 4 weeks ago located it still in the US. Mile High: took three weeks to ship, but since the 24th it has made nice progress and is already in the UK. Silver Acre: all three orders arrived, a fourth one has been placed to finish the shopping spree (30 American comics + 1 European comic + 2 comic supplies = 33 orders).
FYI, Lonestar was closed down the entire month of April. They just went back to regular operations on May 1, so you should get your books soon.

And Balder would be a half-brother as Daddy Odin, Mama Frigg and Thor Daddy Odin and Mama Jord making Thor the bastard son in actuality. And considering how the ALL-FATHER slept around there should be TONS more half brothers and sisters floating around Asgard.

It might technically be true but it wasn’t true in the comic reality. And why reveal it 50 years later ?

Just give Balder a jazzier helmet and jumper actually and I'd be fine with it. Complicated family trees I start to blank out on after a couple too many royal half-siblings. "That's their problem, I don't really have to keep track of all this."

This was the big one. Because of the Guardian movie rumor about him being introduced into the Cinematic MU, this books was very pricey. I didn't enjoy paying as much as I did, but now it's mine.

A couple of small UK orders yesterday: Just over a week with eBay's global. ASM 500 arrived banged up, but a 50% discount makes me at peace with it. This one took over two weeks with Royal Mail, but at least they arrived in the condition they were in, when they took the add pics. (Something that's become noticeable of late).

Ozymandias, I bought all of those Spider-mans from my LCS when they first came out. It was a nice run of books , but nothing I wanted to keep. I sold them off years ago. As for the Thor # 165- it cost 100 bucks. More than I ever paid for a book. It was also the cheapest I saw that book sell for in any condition. When I took it out of the bag, it appeared to be a 4 in grading with flaws on the cover and a weak spine. I was disappointed , but all the others were 150-600.

At least I've got you beat on that count. The most expensive book I ever bought was Giant-Size X-Men #1, for $150.

Paying over 100 for one comic is not something I ever want to do again.

I haven't received my Comic Grading Guide yet (one of the three two orders still pending from the US*) so I can't say for sure, but that copy seems to have one too many flaws for a VG comic. In general, anything below a FN copy is risking it, as not too many sellers respect grading nowadays, but I've seen copies at VG/FN which still looked nice, and I even ordered last week one in VG+ condition (fingers crossed), they didn't have any other grade for that one.
Straczynski didn't grab me at first, when it came out. The ego of this guy just jumped out of the page, but as the years (now decades) went by, I must admit his is the last Spider-Man run I can endorse.
(*) I've officially asked for a refund on the oldest order, the one we were talking about earlier.
