So after several weeks I got the ball rolling again....started of with this full set of 13 Amazing Spidey digests from 1987-88. I have all the original comics but these were adorable collectibles by themselves.

That is one sweet collection of paperbacks there @rags. Would have loved those when I was a teenager and carried them around with me everywhere. Which would likely mean they would be worthless today, but for me comics are for reading and not resale value!  |

I do both reading and resale, the latter helps to finance my own personal collection. In all likelihood I'll be keeping these digests as I only have one complete set...the last 5 are difficult to get in high-grade too.

Did not realize they kept doing the Spider-man digests that late into the 80s.
I've got a couple of Marvel Masterworks on order. I'd love to collect the runs on a bunch of those, but certain series are just impossible as so many of them are out of print and crazy expensive.

I talked to my boss and he told me that anything sent by media mail can take up to 8 weeks to arrive. I have about 5 books that are in limbo because of the cheap postage. I'd rather have spent the extra money to have it come first class. |

...and another 600 pages of comicy goodness arrived this morning. Not bad for 4.50 UKP - which included including postage from Germany - though, in keeping with the general tenor of this thread at the moment, it did take three weeks to get to me.  |
