Holy cow, Ozymandias, you just posted 92 separate images of comics you bought. 92 images! That takes a helluva lot of scrolling to get through and also makes for long page loading times (not everyone who browses here is necessarily on broadband). That really is overkill, I'm afraid. Five or six images with 15 or so comics in each picture would be plenty. We don't need a close up of every comic you've bought in an almost 100 comic lot. Yep, I just skipped to the next page since only viewing CCF off my cell since I wont pay the crazy rates for home internet. Don't need to go visit the Urgent Care for Scrollitis! 😉

So the Lonestar order from the auction win arrived much quicker than previous orders with them, of course it might have to do with springing for the extra $3 and change to upgrade from standard shipping to priority. Anyways, as promised the pics of what I got... the B&B Kubert Hawkman won in the auction... completing my run of American Century... completing the Dr. Fate series... completing House of Yang and snagging the first Son of Tomahawk issue... completing the Seduction of the Innocent mini, these three with Toth covers... and finally, completing the Charlton Vengeance Squad series... I had the issue on the left as a kid in the Modern Comics reprint edition that came in a polybagged 3 pack with some other Charlton books, which is what turned me on to this series oh so long ago but I only recently got around to getting all of the issues for it. -M

I picked up this Shadows And Light for a Spidey throw-back story by Marc Andreyko and Jill Thompson: And the first appearance of Jean DeWolff. Not that I care about first appearances, I just like this issue, and I found it for a reasonable price: That takes care of all the Spidey floppies I've been wanting. Marvel's latest solicitations have a new printing of Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus v2 on the schedule, so after that, I've got all the Spider-Man I've been looking for. Another comic which happens to be a first appearance, of Renee Montoya, but I bought it because it's Scarface + Breyfogle + Grant:

The only Conway scripted comic in my collection. Other than the team Pérez/Marcos, the main attraction is the early Wonder Man appearence. He was probably the most intersting Avenger back then. Perez pencilled it, but the inking was by Esposito, Vohland and Tartaglione.

Picked these books up in a Comic Shop in PA More than I wanted to pay but the Pandemic has snuffed out comic shows. It's all half off from the sticker prices These two get me closer to completing the Ryner GL run

I bought it because it's Scarface + Breyfogle + Grant: I think I love almost anything with puppets, something about little things hitting each other? I love the few stories I've read with Scarface! Each time I think the writer isn't going to make it work and they do! A truly great pair of characters, but then Eric Von Stroheim in The Great Gabbo is one of my all time fave classic films!

Perez pencilled it, but the inking was by Esposito, Vohland and Tartaglione. Corrected. On a separate note, this was graded as FN by Mile High, and yes, there were some creases towards the spine, which I had to press, but looking at those corners, I can't help but wonder if they didn't under-grade this. My copy of #7 (on the other hand) was bought as VF/NM and doesn't look nearly as good as this one.

Just snagged myself a bundle of Gallic goodies on eBay - 14 issues of (A Suivre) for 20 euros. Now, I wait...
EDIT: Woohoo! Don't have to try and sneak them into the house under the wife's Radar because a couple of hours later I sold a pile of (to me) rubbish paperbacks for just enough to make eBay financially carbon neutral for the week...

Went to my lcs today, and they had a couple more long boxes of new old stuff put out, so I rifled through them to see what was new, and picked up a handful of books including... the first issue of the Dell monster super-heroes version of the werewolf, and an adaptation of the Wolfman: Weird Worlds #2 and 3, finishing off that short run series for me: Phoenix #2 finishing off that Atlas run for me and a Sinbad story: 2 of the 3 issues of the Manhunter 2070 run from Showcase: Eerie #29 with a great Ken Kelly cover (and stories by Buddy Saunders of Lonestar comics fame) and a issue of Black Cat reprints put out in the 80s -M

At first glance I thought it was a Starlin cover. Rich Hoberg instead.
