This may be the worst thing I've ever heard in my entire life. Anyone else know about this?

8 minutes into the album, and it's just abysmally bad. The inexcusably out of vogue anti-Japanese stereotypes really aren't helping.

This was the last Jan and Dean recording before Jan Berry's April 1966 car crash in which he suffered head injuries which seriously curtailed the group's career. It was heavily influenced by Neil Hefti's 1966 "Batman" theme.
It's a cool bit of pop culture memorabilia from a time when surf music still ruled the airwaves. I had forgotten about this, Shax. Thanks for bringing it up. Oh yeah, and you are not Jan Berry.

Wow, those comedy routines are pretty bad. How about a song about a superhero that makes no sense whatsoever?
For that, I give you: Hit the Ground (Superman) by The Big Pink:
It's basically a song about riding around on a bus, hanging out with friends that are actually blue plastic bags, full of cans. Then there's hooded ghosts that don't make a sound, crying out for oh Superman I don't wanna hit the ground. Who'll catch me when I drop? (you just said Superman silly!) Wait there is no Superman. Oh no!
I'm sure there's a meaning to all of this that makes some sort of sense, but it's all kind of silly to me.

I had a friend back in those days and he just brought the album and both of us was shocked how bad it was and returned the album back to the store for a full refund. Since then, the album did not sell well because some music columnist back in the sixties wrote a bad review of it and the rest was history. Abysmally Bad - It's Right on the $$$$$!

This may be the worst thing I've ever heard in my entire life. Anyone else know about this? A great piece of mid-60s pop culture collision, like Boris Karloff on Hullabaloo. Or this: And if that's the worst thing you've heard in your life, it's because you never heard this:
