Oh my soul. Oh my dear soul. This is definitely my week. I guess DC really does love me. Do you have any idea how long I have waited for Detective Comics? Featuring Huntress and Robin? I can hardly wait until the fourth weeks of April and May.
I have GOT to get:
Detective Comics
Justice Society
Action Comics
Boo$ter Gold
Blue Beetle
Crime Syndicate
World's Finest Comics
(and I am looking forward to them in THAT order)
Comics from other Weeks that I plan on purchasing include:
The New Teen Titans
Green Lantern Corps
Hawkman
Justice League International
Nightwing/Oracle
Is anyone else hoping that DC will adjust their future titles based on the $ales of some of these Convergence titles?

I would read ongoing titles for all of the Earth 2, 3, 4, S, and X titles announced for week 4 of Convergence. At the very minimum, I think that an Earth 2 Justice Society book with Dr. Fate, Flash, Hawkman, Huntress, Green Lantern, Power Girl, Robin, and Superman is a must. BTW - Wildcat is in one of the week 4 Earth 2 titles right??? |

I would hope that Wildcat would be in Justice Society, but so far there has been nothing shown to indicate that.

I'm betting some of what's not here is mixed in.. it seems like they'll be alot of random elseworlds colliding. This is really a great idea for an event...you get the nostalgia sales from every generation, and to the new readers, they're cool alternate takes that could lead new fans to the back issue bins.

Earth Super Friends featuring Apache Chief, Black Vulcan, Rima, etc. Earth Young Justice. Earth Justice(Alex Rox maxi-series). |

Well collecting the entire series will cost you $365 (everything is priced $3.99 or higher) and the main series alone will run you $45. from Bleeding CoolIf they do a trade of all this, it will likely be 2-3 volumes of an omnibus priced at $75-$100 (or more) each rather than individual trades, and (as is DC trade policy norm)it won't be released until 6 months after the last issue releases (and if they do softcover trade, it will be another 6 months after the hc, so a year after Convergence ends). But that's jsut a gues based on their past trade policy and the way they have collected their Sept events in past years. -M |

Thanks for the update, mrp. I'll probably get all of the main series and 2 or 3 of the tie-in mini-series each week with less of the week featuring the 90s characters and more of the week featuring the Pre-Crisis characters.
