My favorite is Feliz Navidad. What says happy Christmas better than a song titled Happy Christmas?

For winter-themed songs, it's Baby It's Cold Outside. I like the Dolly Parton / Rod Stewart version. And yes it is a bit rapey but it was a more innocent time when it was written. Or was it...

As corny as it is in a way, I've always like The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire). I've never roasted chestnuts, but every year this song almost makes me do so. I need to get off my ass and roast some chestnuts.

I find that most nuts either taste foul or have no taste at all. It's always puzzled me why people bother putting them in candy or on ice cream.

I need to get off my ass and roast some chestnuts. Nothing corny about it, my friend. A true Christmas classic, and my favorite as well. I prefer the Nat King Cole version. And the Time-Life Treasury of Christmas is my go-to CD for holiday tunes.

Let me start out by asserting that they're all horrible - every single one of them. There's little that I find more depressing than the annual parade of unending saccharine christmas pap on heavy rotation in every shop.
However, when enough beer has been drunk for critical faculties to have long-since left the room, I will grudgingly admit to bellowing along with this:

Top 3 would be:
Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives (classic, makes me smile) 12 Days Of Christmas by Bob and Doug (Canadian humour classic) Mistress for Christmas (AC DC's only foray into the holidays...that I know of)

That makes me sad Sorry, Cashews is one of those rare nuts that I don't like at all. They leave a very strange aftertaste after eating them in cookies, salads, and main dishes were cashews are used. Updated from an hour ago.
