One thing that has always frustrated me about DC Comics is when an A-list artist does the cover of a book and the interior is done by an artist of a completely different style or of much lesser quality. I'm fine if there are variant covers by other artists than who draw the interiors of a book but I think that the main cover of a book and the interior of it should be by the same artist.
How do you the rest of you feel?

I see your point (truth in advertising and all that) but then I think about all the beautiful cover art we'd have missed on the '90s Spectre series if such a policy had been in place. So most of the time, sure, but always? Nope.

I was always upset by the Neal Adams cover for Bob Brown interior art myself, but some of the best can only go so fast.

I firmly believe that the Cover and the Interior Artwork should always be done by ONE artist and ONE artist alone and that's my policy as far as artwork goes. I hate to see two different styles of art being shown in one book. It's frustrates me a lot and it's still does.

A recent case of this was that Terry Dodson(whose art I love) was doing covers for both Catwoman and Wonder Woman(variants) but yet the interior artists for both books aren't my cup of tea. I would see this astonishing cover on both books and then look inside to see art that was less than satisfying to my personal taste.
