Murray Boltinoff edited Brave & Bold from June 1968 to the end of 1976. World's Finest went from Mort Weisinger to Julius Schwartz in 1970 and then to Boltinoff in '72. Schwartz edited Batman and Detective the whole time.
My impression as a teenage fan in the mid-70s was that Boltinoff aimed his books at a younger audience than Schwartz.

Re-read Amazing Spider-Man #105–109 from 1972 the other day. [...] ASM #106–109, however, are all drawn and mostly inked by John Romita Sr. (Frank Giacoia inks ASM #106 and 107). Suffice it to say, Romita's artwork in these issues is fantastic. I'm pretty sure this is the year I voted for Romita as Best Penciller in the Academy of Comic Book Arts' annual Shazam awards.

Might go nicely with certain themed books I got recently? Can anyone say if it's a fairly realistic presentation of the Book of Genesis? It is! The original art of the whole book was on display at the local art museum shortly after it was published, and Kurt and I saw it. It's an extremely faithful adaptation; Crumb illustrates the text with incredible skill.

Jack Kirby's version of Spider-Man was a shamelessly blatant rip-off of the Fly character he and Joe Simon created for Harvey, Nitpick: the Fly was from Archie, not Harvey.
