And I don't have a right to hold a protest while I'm delivering mail. I haven't noticed any NFL players not doing their job.

And I don't have a right to hold a protest while I'm delivering mail. that's because you signed a contract waiving your rights by agreeing to their terms of employment. That was your choice. There are no such terms in the CBA of the NFL. They haven't waived their rights to be employed by the NFL. The issue here is not with the NFL allowing them, it;s with the USPS not allowing you, so direct you ire at your employer, not one that allows it's employees to exercise their rights. -M

So what. John Schnatter is notorious as a whiny asshole. I wouldn't buy a pizza from him if it was the only one available. Him being upset has nothing to do with ratings.

Declining sales and a 8.5% drop in stocks has made him whine. But I guess there's no connection...

Declining sales and a 8.5% drop in stocks has made him whine. But I guess there's no connection... One reason? His pizza sucks. Another? Peyton Manning is his spokesperson.

Comparing dog turds to cat turds to bat guano as foodstuffs isn't very useful Finding good, local pizza outside of NYC or Chicago is always dicey. If we're talking relatively common pizza chains, Papa John's is the best.

Declining sales and a 8.5% drop in stocks has made him whine. But I guess there's no connection... It's this thing called finding a scapegoat to blame your own failings on. More competition, more gourmet pizza shops catering to foodies gaining market share and offering delivery, and more delivery options of other foods have been eating away Papa John's sales and market share for the past few years, and customer satisfaction surveys have shown increases in customer dissatisfaction as the trend for Papa John's for the past 2 1/2 years, but it's because he has ties to the NFL that his sales are down. Sure, ok. If anything it's a blatant PR cash grab to try to get business from all the people grumbling about NFL players protesting who want to support like-minded businesses who will still eat it sitting on their couch watching the NFL and ignoring the anthem as it plays on the TV. Also he was last to adopt online ordering and offering pizza tracking apps which ate in to his delivery business among the 18-35 demographic. I bet that was the NFL's fault too. -M

If it's a given that the pizza is bad, why would the sales dip now ? The sales would have always been bad.
