See Explanation Below...
Action Comics #378 Anthro #6 Captain America #116 (Avengers crossover!) Incredible Hulk #118 (vs Sub-Mariner!!!) Iron Man #16 (!!!) Marvel Collectors Item Classic #22 (Man i love these quarter books!!!) Superboy #158 (this story freaked ME OUT!!! And I Love Brown/Wood!!!) Tomahawk #123 X-Men #58 (I will tell the story about this comic on the X-Men From The Beginning post when they get there!)
Caveat for a couple of months/years... I was visiting a lot of flea markets at this time, so stuff i might have gotten there months or years later (probably pre-early teens) cloud my fading memories of when i originally got the books. Some of them are pretty bright in the memory, some i just didnt care that much about.
When i was ten, while playing in someone's room (i really don't want to call him a friend, just a playmate so to speak) i broke off part of one of his models. He was pretty pissed and suggested that i pay him for a new one. Where in the hell was i going to get $1.20? So i came to the idea that i could give him 10 comics to make up for it. Nope, he said. Used comics are really cheap. He would only accept 1 cent for each comic. So i trundled home and took a paper shopping bag and stuffed it with 120 pre 1971 Marvels and DCs. Carried it back down the street and gave it to him. I didn't even get the broken model (some sort of dragster). Those books floated around the neighborhood, probably being destroyed in his horse barn using them to light fires (something he enjoyed doing).
*sigh*

... Or the addition of Alfred, created for the 1943 Columbia serial, to the Batman cast... Wow! I did not know that!
Or the return of Alfred (after being killed off) to reflect the Batman television series.

Right about this time, i started getting a lot of comics. Unfortunately, due to sell-offs, debt repayment (story on that next month) and time, i own very few comics that i originally bought off the stands. I was probably starting to get my allowance at this time (a big whopping 50 cents a week!), so that's what? Four books a week? Mom and Dad must have been supplementing that money a bit on occasion.
So, some maybes...
Action Comics #377 (remember reading the weird Forte Legion story with the Luthor robot) Captain America #115 (maybe) Fantastic Four #88 Flash #189 Iron Man #15 (definitely!) Justice League of America #72 Marvel Tales #21 Metal Men #38 Showcase #83 (definitely!)
Superboy #157

April!!
Adventure Comics #464 (LOVE anthology superhero books!!) Avengers #185 (Man this book rocks!!!!) Captain America #235 Daredevil #159 (McKenzie/Miller/Jansen are killing it here!!!!) Defenders #73 (just keeping the run going...) Fantastic Four #208 Godzilla #24 (RIP) Hulk #237 Iron Man #124 (Michelline/JRJR/Layton rockin' here also!!!) Marvel Spotlight v2 #1 ("let's burn off some inventory here...") Marvel Team-Up #83 (great storyline!!!) Marvel Two-In-One #53 (another great storyline!!!) Micronauts #7 (Golden Man-Thing!!!) X-Men #123 (BAM!! More great stuff!!!)
By this time, my subscriptions had run out (leading to a nice story next month!) Looking back, this month's books rocked, so much good material from so many creators!! I was really getting into Marvel by this point and had begun work on my Big Chronology, which sought to place all the books in a reading order (before it became popular 40 yrs later!).

If'n I remember rightly, the next Beast/Iceman story was set in California and they battled the Lava Men. I don't know if any art was done for it, but the Angel stories in Ka-Zar and Marvel Tales were probably part of this little split-up deal.

Don't read too much into JMS's choice for Hype's secret id name... it came from Don and Maggie Thompson.

I drew a version of the Hellcat pin-up page for my art class in High School (and got an A with the aside from the female teacher that i should not be doing nudes in the future(?)). Even a couple of years after this story, i still wanted to draw like George!
Oh! And i have a notebook with #141 on the cover!

Neal Adams on his early 70's Superman covers or Mike Sekowsky on Wonder Woman (whose work i compared to a pinball machine's artwork from the local swimming pool)
