Beware of fake Incredible Hulk 181s.....people who create these forgeries should be hanged and quartered.
The pages are really glossy. It's particularly striking when they compare the fake to an actual old comic. That was my original thought when i saw this (haven't watched the video yet). I imagine it would be difficult to computer print on comparable newsprint stock, even if you could find it. If they are being printed on other kinds of paper, they're suckering people who don't really know what they're buying, Like the folks in the 70s who bought DC Famous First Editions as the real thing even though they books were twice the size of the originals.

I was shocked to find these in a box of usual 90s-and-up back issues at the flea market. I used to have a $5 limit on back issues, but have been picking UGs like these up for $10 (like these) or more, just 'cause they're pretty rare at most shows. And it seems dealers want at least $5 for anything on newsprint that isn't beat to hell or funny animals. Plus, I figured I'd just spent $10 on heirloom tomatoes at the farmer's market and I probably won't even have those on a week. Nice book. What did you pay ? $10 each

I just want to see an ad for Marvel, DC or Coca-Cola. That’d make me happy, mrp! (Or a Range Rover ad, I mean, is there a better car out there?!) I want to say I see a lot of car ads, but since I'm not in the market, it's just white noise. If I'm paying attention to the screen, it's just to count down until "Skip Ad" becomes active. I don't think I've ever seen an ad for gambling or investments--I wonder if the ads shown are based on user data or the video?

I also decided to try Kamandi after seeing so much praise for it, read issues #1-#11. Aside from the obvious "Planet Of The Apes" homage, it does a lot of interesting world building (and re-iterating on said world building that man is little more than a pet) and has a lot of neat ideas. Though I'm not sure how much longer I can read a story where every other issue the main character gets captured, talked down to like a wild animal, and then let go by someone of a position of power All this aside, it's easy to see why the book is so beloved, regardless of the obvious faults Well, more than one strong man has choked up at the death of Kliklak...

Here's the thing; you might hear someone say, well why didn't you go to HR? HR Departments exist to protect the company, not the employees. If the company wants to bury this away, they will, instead of making examples of the perpetrators and exile them to some ice flow somewhere to die as the sad, pathetic little ba$%@&*s they are. Yeah--in February, I and three co-workers were let go with no warning and for no stated reason except that "there was no performance issue." In one of the communications i got, HR said that i could have an exit interview, and even though I was able to get another position at the university, I really wanted one because the three of us felt we were targeted in favor of new hires. We all had to ask multiple times for the interview--HR didn't seem anxious to talk to any of us. I bugged my rep until I got one. Two finally just opted to use an online form. The fourth, who also got another position internally, had her appointment cancelled at least twice. I don't know that she ever got her exit interview.
