One of the auctions for the CAPS benefit Auction which I really wish I had won was two pages of original art from the "Usagi's Ark" back-up story by Stan Sakai and Ken Mitchroney, one page offered was by Ken and the other page was by Stan. Obviously, that is one of the only Usagi stories which Stan does not still have the original art for.
IIRC, The only two pages of Usagi Yojimbo story art which are in the regular continuity of the series that Stan does not still retain possession of are a single page from the Chanoyu which was sold, and a page that was given away as a wedding present.

Stan on Young Hellboy. I'd lose my mind! Or Stan on Lobster Johnson. Did Stan contribute a piece to the recent Hellboy 100 book?

Since Jei-san started as a pun on Jason, I would imagine it is pronounced like Jay....
I still catch myself pronouncing it as Jai (like chai), and Usagi as You-sagi. Of course, people say I talk real funny/peculiar....

I adore this one. It always makes me smile instead of frown when I complete an Usagi Saga volume. So cool that you own this! I really need to get on the Dojo Christmas Card list. So awesome that you do that every year. That artwork is utterly adorable. I somehow forgot to add my name this year to the Dojo Christmas card list. Stupid me... I still have some left if you don't mind them being a little out of season. I can send them out with your 20th Anniversary doo-hicky thingy when it gets mailed....

From the 2009 Dojo Christmas Card.... I really need to get on the Dojo Christmas Card list. So awesome that you do that every year. That artwork is utterly adorable. 2009 was the only year that the Dojo Christmas Card featured original art made specifically for the card. And I always wondered why you had never signed up for it.....

Even though Stan Sakai has been the sole creator for the Usagi Yojimbo series for over thirty years, writing, drawing, and lettering each and every story published, a fairly large number of artists (both fans and professions) have tried their hand at drawing the Ronin Rabbit.
This is the place to show off that artwork.....

A couple convention sketches Stan Sakai drew for me at the 1994 Motor City Comic Con, the first time I ever met Stan, and only the second comic convention I had ever attended.... The photo was taken at the 1999 San Diego Comic Con by the brother of my employer (at the time). Since he lived in San Diego and had a couple kids, I offered to pay their way if they could get me some swag from Stan and Sergio.... I bought this page from Stan at the 2007 Motor City Comic Con This is the first piece of original art I ever bought, it was listed on ebay with a relatively low buy-it-now price..... A piece which was picked up for me at the Emerald City Comic Con back in 2009.... From the 2010 Motor City Comic Con..... Picked up for me at the 2011 SDCC.... From the Gem City Comic Con in 2013.... This was from the Heroes Initiative Live Auction at the 2013 Gem City Comic Con.... Ebay purchase in 2013.... Found on ebay in 2014 with a $29.99 Buy-it-Now price tag!!! Picked up for me at SDCC 2014.....

I personally don't have any room for them (and I don't buy statues if I can't display them), but I'd LOVE to own Jotoro. Funny, I know someone who was looking for a good cause to donate a Jotaro statue to..... he was thinking of making it a prize in some kind of special contest sometime in the near future.
