Tough to beat the previously mentioned stories but I will throw in... Defenders #13-14 Doc, Hulk and Subby vs. Nebulon and the Squadron Sinister. "And Who Shall Inherit The Earth!" yeah, that's some Bronze Age goodness.

I've always thought if Maneely had lived he would have been Stan's troubleshooter. Righting the ship when it needed it. Daredevil and X-Men by Lee and Maneely has a nice ring to it.
I also would have loved to see Mike Parobeck work on some indys. His style was as unique as Darwyn Cooke's.

25,000 bags! (for $325)
That is great bait. Someone orders that many bags...they might have some comics and can probably expect a letter asking about them.

We placed an online order recently, first in a while. Some She-Hulks and Teen Titans for the wife, a few newer things for me (including the gold logo High Society and a variant cover for I Hate Fairyland 7 with the series' other title). And I got these - because of a discussion on this forum cause I've been buying the books lately and had to try it and some Charlton romances, including this classic which I had to have for that cover. I may review it here, if I can find that romance thread. But let's just say the story does not live up to the cover. Just had to do some research to see if Just Married was real. Lo and behold it is. That Leather Boy on the right is just too bizarre for words. This issue is on my want list now. If only for a gag gift to some married friends.

This list , like many other favorite lists, are a reflection of he year a person started reading comics. Picking Stern/ Buscema over Thomas / Buscema is an example of this. Started a little earlier. Trouble, more trouble ...then...Hercules gets his ass whipped into a coma by about 10 supervillains. Can't remember a better run without the obligatory death that was expected by then.
