Just yesterday I read the new Star Wars # 1 taking place after Empire Strikes Back. Not bad but the dialogue with the Rebel Alliane and Leia and Lando got boring.
and read 3 issues of Immortal Hulk where I really got bored of having to read through 3 whole issues of some half man half bull character in Roxxon talk jibber jabber nonsense of stock market stuff

I still enjoy any letter page section in old 1990s comics epspecially the X-Men comics where people even number list their questions about stuff that went on in the previous issues.
Then i question if there's letters that were scripted and made up by some of the writers of the comics themselves
That and George Martin author of the Game of Thrones books he claims he wrote a letter for the old Fantastic Four comic book.
some of those old fan letters in the letters page sections in old comics I half believe they were from fans/readers while some of those letters I think were made up by the staff etc in Marvel, DC, Wizard Magazine, Toyfare

i bought the fascimile/reprint of Uncanny X-Men #266 from tfaw.
Even though the fascimile reprints are more newish or whatever, they still count as old comic book issues in a way.

When I was a little kid in the 1980s I dunno what issue i had of Iron Man one time but I cut out someone in iron armor from the comic with scissors.
I was a naughty little boy. I never did it to my other comics i had like Power Pack and Alf and Spider Ham.
guess I wasnt into Iron Man comic book back then or something

Back in the day when i was a little kid I was too young to even know about New Mutants while I was more into original Uncanny X-Men, Power Pack and Alpha Flight.
was original New Mutants any good? there anything good to read besides the overrated Demon Bear stuff?

Its funny that with going through my old back issues of Power Pack, Conan, Amazing Spider-Man and X-Men that the old timey rip off ads of bodybuilding and gag gifts from the 1930s to 1950s were still being advertised in comic books during the 1980s.
You'd think old junk ads like that would have gone away but they were still around even in the 1980s

One comic book that really never got finished properly was the old magazine format sized black and white Nightmare on Elm Street where it was 2 issues but there was supposed to be a third one but was canceled because of frikkin parents that were being overprotective of their kids reading a violent comic book

Too bad Marvel doesnt do True Believers of Groo, The Nam, or even Dreadstar or even them doing obscure True Believers reprints of stuff like the Krull comic book adaptation or whatever

yeah thats still a good bunch of True Believers reprints of old Hulk issues even the one with Wendigo.
But last couple of months ago since August I think, there was alot of True Believers reprints of old Amazing Spider-Man that included Morbius, Mysterio, Aunt May getting married to Doc Ock and a couple of others that were reprints of Spectacular Spider Man or at least those fasciile stuff with the old ads.
Marvel needs to slow it down a bit with those True Believers. Hard to catch up with those.
