I have only read King's Batman run so not familiar with his other work. I read Batman 1 thru 25 and was not impressed at all. I loved Snyder's Batman run and have all of the hardcovers. I wanted to love King's Batman and kept reading hoping it would get better, but I forced myself to get through the 1st 25 issues. Is the story with the Joker and Riddler any good??

I watched the Batman and Harley Quinn movie yesterday. It was alright, not going to make my top 10 list. Some funny moments, especially the kinky scene with Nightwing and Harley.

I've got a few of them... I was buying them on clearance when BJs would sell them for $5 each. I remember liking the Wonder Woman origin.. didn't like the Green Lantern or JLA one as much. Dark Knight returns was quite good. I decided to pass on Judas Contract.. it's just can't be the same with all the characer substitions, so it'll just annoy me. I felt the same way, but give it a chance. Most of the main characters from the original Wolfman/Perez story are there...Tara, Nightwing, Starfire, Changeling, Raven, Deathstroke, Brother Blood. I recommend this 100%!! One of the best DC animated movies made so far.

I bought one digital Comic ( Batman #251, the Joker story). I only got it that way because it was too pricey to get the physical copy. Digital is great for reading, but not much else IMHO. I don't think you can "own" a digital copy of anything. That's funny because the only digital comic I purchased was also Batman #251. This was my test run and I did not purchase any other comics because you cannot download to your desktop or read offline... If I have no control I do not feel it is justified or worth spending my money on. I do however have a large collection of digital comics I obtained from torrent sites, but before you lecture me on piracy keep in mind that due to obtaining these digital copies it has inspired me to buy several hundred back issues and collected editions which I would't have done if it Weren't for digital making me want physical media as well. In fact before digital came along I had stopped collecting for close to 15 years.

You do know that eventually comic books will go ALL digital, right? Save a tree IMO.

Anyone know what good old issues of the original Daredevil comic are good to read? Next month when I have the money ill have to get a couple more of old Daredevil issues. i still need to get caught up on the Falling from Grace story arc where I have the Prelude issue and the other issue starting with part 1 of the Falling from Grace. heck I need to get back into getting old issues of Fantastic Four also. How "old" do you need to go back for the FF?

6. Avengers - Busiek/Perez run only. I was never a big Avengers fan, except for some of the Byrne and Perez artwork issues from the late 70's/early 80's.

1. Fantastic Four - Lee/Kirby, Perez, Byrne
2. Justice League of America - 1960's to 1970's were the best era IMO.
3. Uncanny X-Men - Claremont/Byrne era mainly.
4. New Teen Titans - Wolfman/Perez
5. LOSH - Levitz/Giffen/LaRocque and early Cockrum and Grell
