Harry Anderson:
Produced beautiful work for Fawcett, Quality, Atlas and others, then retired at the dawn of the Silver Age.

A couple of years ago when I was revisiting some Bronze Age favorites I hadn't read for a while, I was pleasantly surprised by how many of them were drawn by Irv Novick.
And you're so right about Dick Dillin as well. I didn't read JLA much as a kid but I read a couple of volumes of Showcase Presents: Justice League of America over the past year and I found Dillin to be consistently dazzling.
Don Newton's a good choice too! But I think I sort of take him for granted because I read tons and tons of his Batman comics for years as they were coming out brand new on spinner racks in the days when the continuity went from Detective to Batman and back again for years. Killer Croc! The Squid! Nocturna! Julia Pennyworth! Harvey Bullock!
Jason Todd!

I certainly agree with Dick Dillin, Rich Buckler and Irv Novick.
Mike Parobeck, Ty Templeton, Norm Breyfogle, Kerry Gammill, Tom Grummett, Graham Nolan and Dan Jurgens would be on my list.

Greg LaRocque was great when he was doing Legion of Superheroes back in the mid to late 80's.

Frank Miller.
Yes, I know that sounds like a crazy thing to say, but how often do you hear praise of Miller's art and how often do you hear things like "The Dark Knight Returns is ugly." "The only good Miller art is on Daredevil," "After Sin City his art became crap," etc. Actual appreciation of Miller's art is much rarer than appreciation of his writing.
