Wow thanks for the votes, everyone! I'm grateful, yet surprised based on how many interesting entries there were last week. Anyway, I thought of several good topics for this week's competition, but since I don't know how long it will be until I win again, if I ever do, I decided to make the theme relate to my favorite character who I am obsessed about. No, it's not Sandman. It's Batman. So this week's theme is Batman with a Supervillain. Your comic book cover entries must have both Batman AND at least one supervillain. That means that covers with ordinary hoodlums or gangsters do not fill the requirement (unless they are accompanied by a supervillain of course). However, your entries can have multiple supervillains if you want. Also, minor/little-known supervillains are perfectly acceptable, and they do not have to be supervillains that are most associated with Batman. Here is an example, followed by the rules. Enjoy! I can't wait to see your entries! The rules: Post one, and only one, classic cover that fits the theme of the contest. -Cover must be from a published comic book or collected volume published before Jan 1 2005. -Covers must be posted before voting begins. -Voting is on Tuesday February 3rd, beginning at 12:01am PST and ending at 11:59am PST -Vote by posting the name of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or that you simply like the most -Put the name in bold. -The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period ends. -The winner chooses the theme for the next week's contest. -If you don't think the cover fits the theme, don't vote for it; don't post disparaging remarks about it. If a cover is more recent that the Classic time frame, kindly point it out and the poster can choose an alternate before voting begins.

I love the how the simplicity of this design suggests menace and danger. Plus, really good use of color, especially the concealing black contrasted with the lighter blue-green background and red logo.
